J.C. Penney Co. Inc. (NYSE: JCP) has made a series of promotions and hires as it continues to round out its senior management team and restructure personnel at its Plano, Texas, headquarters, the Dallas Business Journal reports.

J.C. Penney hired a few new employees from companies like Nordstrom, Abercrombie & Fitch, Piper Jaffray and Fort Worth-based Tandy Brands.

J.C. Penney has 10 stores in Central Florida.
